Adrian has built a reputation as a passionate advocate for his constituents since being elected in 2005. In elected office, Adrian has helped lead community efforts to improve public safety for everyone, to save and fix schools, to build new housing, to establish community health facilities, to promote traffic safety, to create new childcare spaces and to address climate change. He works with everyone in Vancouver Renfrew to make our community better.

A strong advocate for public health care, Adrian has served as Minister of Health since July 2017. Under his leadership, BC has led Canada in recruiting family doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and allied health workers to serve patients across BC, setting new records in 2023 and 2024.
