Biography

I have loved to live in the Guildford area for 18 years. I have enjoyed a lot of the things this riding has to offer like the natural beauty, recreation and shopping centers. I want to make it better so present and newcomers can enjoy it as well.

I am fortunate to have earned my Bachelor of Science from UBC and Masters degree from Iowa State University. I want to encourage every adult to pursue higher education and will work hard to make the elementary and high school years of students enjoyable by working to decrease the dependency on portables, students having a breakfast program and laptops to use if they can't afford it.

To earn a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and to complete my Technical Writing certification (from BCIT) I had to get some work experience. I want to improve the private sector of our economy so people can easily find jobs and businesses succeed. Having jobs will prevent people from moving out of beautiful British Columbia.

As wild fires destroy cities and creeks become dry causing our fish to die we need to work on improving our climate now rather than later. I want to work on decreasing our dependency on fossil fuels and look at alternative renewable resources.

A lot of my time will be working on housing affordability, school overcrowding, doctor availability among other priorities.
