Garry Begg knows the importance of giving families, kids, and schools the tools they need to succeed — now and later in life. Prior to being elected as the MLA for Surrey-Guildford in 2017 and 2020, he served in progressive law enforcement leadership with the RCMP for nearly 40 years where he gained a deep understanding of issues facing people living in Surrey.

Garry knows that Surrey is the fastest growing — and soon to be largest — city in BC, which comes with its own set of challenges for people who live here. It’s why he’s focused on ensuring the people of Surrey have the housing, education and health care support they need to build a good life here.
