Raised in the Nicola Valley with her ranching grandparents and mom, Francyne grew up surrounded by traditional family values and a hard-working community. This upbringing has shaped her commitment to advocate for the people of Fraser-Nicola.
With 20 years of frontline experience, and with a track record of advocacy across Canada, Francyne has fought for economic development, job creation, justice, health and wellness, and was one of the leading voices in the fight against violence towards Indigenous women. Now, she has returned home, where she currently works in emergency management, to take action to make her community stronger.
