In 2005, my family and I moved to the Fraser Valley. Following a 34-year Parks Canada career, I was elected in 2015 and served 7 years in Ottawa. I have since joined the BC NDP and am seeking office as the MLA for Langley-Abbotsford.
Reason for running

I loved representing my community in Parliament and had many successes over 7 years in Ottawa. I decided to apply my skills to advance important issues provincially.
Many of the issues that are important to me and my community fall under provincial jurisdiction such as healthcare and education. Others require provincial/federal collaboration such as housing, transportation, climate change and reconciliation. My political experience allows me to work effectively on a variety of important issues to our local community and our province.
