Diana Gibson's life’s work is to make life better for people. Diana is an award winning community leader and successful business woman. She has a Masters Degree in International Development and over 30 years of senior leadership experience.

As Executive Director of the Community Social Planning Council of Greater Victoria, Diana led the development of a program on housing affordability, and launched the region's first Rent Bank which helped over 2,000 households avoid eviction during the pandemic.

A passionate advocate for sustainability, she launched an award-winning regional climate action program. She was the Research Director of a university-based institute where she published a best selling book on public health care.

Diana co-founded and was CEO of a mission-driven business, now a national firm with offices across the country.

Diana lives in Oak Bay-Gordon Head with her spouse and three children. Diana has a deep knowledge of the challenges facing her neighbours and community - she’s stepping forward to be Oak Bay-Gordon Head’s voice on David Eby's BC NDP team in the B.C. Legislature.
