Manitoba Liberals will renegotiate a deal with the Federal Government to redirect a portion of the revenue from the pollution pricing plan so that we can set our own conditions. In addition, we will establish new green building codes for both new builds and retrofits.

The Green Fund will be partially funded by Efficiency Manitoba, Manitoba Hydro, and a redirected portion of the revenue from the pollution pricing plan.

Eligible projects under the Green Fund will include, but are not limited to:

» Efficiency programs for producers to reduce the impact of agricultural greenhouse emissions, such as N02;

The NUKA model provides for a reduction in patient stress through a better integration of mental and physical health care and for improved integration of specialist care into primary care practice. The NUKA model has been shown, where implemented, to be highly effective in decreasing the need for emergency room visits by 40% and decreasing hospital admission by 36%. "From 2006 to 2019, the Manitoba Government illegally took federal benefits intended for Indigenous children who were in the care CFS. Childrens’ Special Allowances were monthly payments intended to pay for the care of all Indigenous children.

When children were taken into the custody of CFS, the Manitoba Government clawed back, dollar for dollar, these necessary supports. This left lasting harm and has limited many childrens’ full potential. In opposition, the Progressive Conservatives described this act as “Immoral and illegal” and the New Democratic Party (NDP) called it “theft”. Despite criticizing each other, neither party has committed to returning the funds for its intended use.

Trenton has always strived to provide unique opportunities for Westman. Whether coaching the fencing club , working with not-for-profits, guiding local entrepreneurs, or being a founding member of the maker space he is always looking for new ways to make a difference.

Trenton Zazalak is a visionary leader and dedicated community servant. With an unwavering commitment to the betterment of society, he has worked tirelessly to address the diverse needs of his community, ensuring their well-being, economic prosperity, and intellectual growth. Trenton is married to Janelle and together they have been parents to six children.

Born and raised in rural Manitoba, Trenton witnessed the struggles faced by his community firsthand. With a desire to understand the challenges that hindered everyday average people from achieving their full potential and driven by a desire to make a positive difference, Trenton pursued higher education, attending several institutions including Royal Roads Military College, and Brandon University, eventually earning a master’s degree in business from Athabasca University. This academic foundation instilled in them the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to bring about meaningful change.

After serving in the Canadian Forces, Trenton returned home to see his community slowly shrinking away due to limited economic opportunities. To change the adverse economic conditions in Manitoba, Trenton focused his education on business development and became an entrepreneur.

Over the years Trenton has helped to develop several community initiatives including the creation of a local makerspace, teaching community members how to start a business in Manitoba, as well as focusing on developing education and training programs that would maximize the opportunities for local employment.

Trenton’s journey into politics was born out of a genuine desire to serve his community. He recognized that true progress could only be achieved by actively engaging in the political process. Embracing the values of integrity, empathy, and compassion, Trenton is running for public office, vowing to champion the cause of creating a healthy, wealthy, and wise province.

Understanding the significance of a healthy populace, Trenton has worked with several health regions identifying training and employment opportunities, identifying critical shortages and forecasting future demand. Trenton believes that our health care system requires quality medical services accessible to all.
