Originally from St. John’s Newfoundland, Jason learned from a young age the importance of hard work and fighting for what you believe in. His interest in community service began at the age of nine while knocking on doors for his mother, Bonnie Hickey, who was the first female Member of Parliament for St. John’s East.
Jason is a proud alumnus of George Brown College, where he studied hospitality and tourism management. With a focus on business management, Jason has worked with various clients on hiring processes, strategic investments, and streamlining business practices to reduce spending. It is this experience in business that Jason will bring as your Member of Parliament for New Brunswick Southwest.
Since moving to New Brunswick, Jason has worked across the region in operations management for various parts of the tourism and hospitality industry. Having travelled extensively around the world and worked all across Canada, Jason is fortunate to call southwestern New Brunswick home, alongside his partner and their puppy.
Jason is ready to work with Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team to be a strong voice for the people of New Brunswick Southwest.
