Port Moody can be a place where residents can get the things they need and want,
A City where we can truly Work, Live and Play
I’m running because I feel like I can help. I'm a communicator, a listener, and a problem-solver. Finding solutions is what I do. I've lived here for almost 10 years. I’m raising my family here. I’ve volunteered here. And loved every minute of it. This is home and I love it. But I see gaps.
Housing being built that doesn't fit families. Streets that don't feel safe for pedestrians, bike riders or even drivers. Local businesses that are forced to leave our city because there are no places being built to hold them. Parks that aren't inclusive. People have lost free community spaces that allow us to meet with family and friends.
And I know we can do better. I want to make sure that our parks are places that our residents can actually use, for a long time —with bathrooms and water fountains. I want make sure that the homes that we build fit all our residents. Places for people who work from home with real space, not just studios. Apartments that fit our families, not where they have to force themselves to fit into. Streets where everyone feels safe, whether you're driving, walking, or biking.
We can do this by prioritizing the things that we need and want. The things that make us thrive.

Reason for running
• Create Community Hubs and neighbourhood parks
• Homes for renters and home-owners around these hubs & small business clusters.
• Prioritize safety for drivers, pedestrians and everyone

And places that have shops and services that I can use.
I want a Port Moody where we can LIVE, WORK, and PLAY. A 15-minute city. Neighbourhood hubs. Safer streets and sidewalks for drivers and pedestrians. I just want a city where we can just BE and Stay.
