Biography
Originally from Placentia Bay, Beth Ryan grew up in a large family where education, independence, and social justice were valued.
A desire to reduce the inequities in our society led Beth to the New Democratic Party of Newfoundland and Labrador. As a long-time volunteer with the NL NDP, she has served as an officer of the executive and in other organizing roles.
Beth has also been a labour activist, serving as president of her union local while working with the federal government.
Beth is committed to the NDP goal of safe, affordable housing for all.
She also believes strongly in timely access to public health care, no matter where you live in the province.
A graduate of Memorial University and the University of King’s College, Halifax, Beth has had a long communications career mainly in the public service.
Beth is proud to be part of the NL NDP, the party that is seeking a better deal for all of us!
