I'm running because I'd like to have a modern congestion management strategy for the North Shore, starting with a demand-based approach to parking management in West Van, and in collaboration with Metro Vancouver, managing congestion on the bridges and downtown to give us a congestion free North Shore.

While a broad congestion management strategy requires wider collaboration, the first step is entirely within the control of the West Vancouver council and they are not taking it. The current council has never had a coherent vision; since pay parking was introduced at Ambleside in September 2025, its policy has been marked by repeated backtracking. West Vancouver deserves clear leadership that delivers modern, lasting infrastructure solutions.
