Steinbach resident Cyndy Friesen served as an elected school trustee from 2006-2018 and was employed with a crown corporation for 17 years as a human resource specialist.

Kelvin Goertzen is a lifelong resident of Steinbach and, since 2003, has had the honour of serving as the MLA for the Steinbach constituency. In addition, he has served in several senior government roles.
