A lifelong Islander, and two term Trustee, Ann’s career in business administration and human resources provide her many of the skills that benefit her in her role as Trustee. As a workshop facilitator, Ann has presented tools and resources on how to navigate educational policy to achieve successful results.
Her deep passion and commitment to building communities and supporting families has seen Ann actively engaged at the school, district, and provincial tables for over 20 years. As an involved parent, Ann has served as PAC Chair, DPAC Director, President of the BC Confederation of PAC (BCCPAC), was appointed to the BC Teachers Council for a three-year term and sits on the steering committee of the BC School Centered Mental Health Coalition.
Ann is committed to ensuring positive education experiences for all children and supporting the role parents and community play in positive learning outcomes with our diverse public education system.
