A resident of Richmond for 23 years with two children in secondary school and his wife has been an EA in Richmond since 1992.

Andrew has been a long-time advocate for public education and is currently in his third term as President of the Richmond District Parents Association. As President, Andrew meets regularly with the District Superintendent, senior staff, Trustees, Stakeholder leaders and Parents. Andrew will bring a unique unbiased perspective of the families, staff and leadership within the District.

He has been actively involved in the creation of the District Strategic Plan and currently sits on the SOGI Advisory Committee and the DEI Advisory Committee.

Andrew will bring his passion for public education to the position of Trustee. He will work to increase student safety through continued seismic remediation and increased mental health supports along with working to ensure every student in Richmond feels welcome, included and safe.
