Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team

Jean-Jacques Desgranges is originally from Sudbury and has lived in Ottawa since 1992.

Before pursuing a career in law, he worked in several fields, including construction, oil exploration in Alberta, education, and music. He has been a lawyer and notary in Ontario since 1997.

He has worked in several fields, including environmental law, corporate law, employment law, and administrative law. He is currently a civil servant in the tax field.

He is fully bilingual and proud of his French-Canadian heritage. He is very involved in the community, serving on the boards of non-profit organizations and charities, including the Ottawa Men's and Families Centre.

This is Jean-Jacques' third time running for federal office. Following the 2015 election, he realized the hidden mission of the "uniparty" party at the time, where both the Liberals and Conservatives had willingly submitted to left-wing values, presenting Canadians with no alternative center-right choice. And when Maxime Bernier found himself thwarted by his own party because of its conservative values, Jean-Jacques knew he had to act because he clearly saw his country, Canada, sinking deeper and deeper into debt and subjugating its citizens to an administrative state that continually violates our individual rights guaranteed by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Through ACTION, as a political candidate, Jean-Jacques seeks to use the public forum to share the People's Party of Canada's platform, which ultimately boils down to individual freedom and personal responsibility. When elected, he will ensure he represents your conservative voice (in the truest sense of the word) in the House of Commons.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
Jean-Jacques will effectively represent the interests of the residents of Hull-Aylmer because they will have chosen a candidate who espouses fiscal responsibility and respect for individual freedoms as per the platform of the Peoples Party of Canada.
