Biography
Greg Fergus est le député de la circonscription de Hull-Aylmer depuis octobre 2015.
Greg a été le secrétaire parlementaire du Premier ministre et de la Présidente du Conseil du Trésor, de la ministre du Gouvernement numérique et du ministre de l'Innovation, des Sciences et du Développement économique. Il a aussi été membre du Comité permanent des finances.
Greg est le membre fondateur du Caucus des parlementaires noirs et du Caucus des libéraux noirs, qu'il a co-présidé jusqu'en avril 2022.
Greg est toujours très impliqué au sein de sa communauté. Il encourage les gens à s'investir dans les causes qui leur tiennent à cœur et à travailler ensemble pour créer un sentiment d'appartenance plus fort. Un passionné de la course de pied, de la politique et du jazz, il est fier de sa communauté et de tout ce qu'elle a accompli.
Au cours des 30 dernières années, il a travaillé dans les secteurs privé et public, pour des organisations à but non lucratif et dans le secteur universitaire. Sa femme et lui sont les fiers parents de trois enfants adultes et les grands-parents adorés de deux petits-fils.
