Biography
“For the planet, for the lands, plants, and animals that surround and sustain us, and for our future, I’m running as a Green Party candidate to be the change I want to see.”
Adam Frank is a Red Seal electrician, climate advocate, youth coach and longtime Okanagan resident with experience in renewable energy, community organizing and communications.
Adam grew up in Ontario and regularly visited Big White with his family before eventually moving to the Okanagan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media, Information and Technoculture from Western University as well as a diploma in radio broadcasting.
After moving into the trades, Adam became a Red Seal electrician and worked on solar power projects, combining his technical background with his interest in sustainability and renewable energy.
His concern about climate change also led him into community organizing. In 2019, Adam organized a Kelowna climate strike as part of the Fridays for Future movement and later led the Kelowna Climate Save movement from 2019 to 2022.
Outside of his professional and advocacy work, Adam is a co-founder, board member and coach with the Kelowna Water Polo Club, where he is known by local youth as “Coach Adam.”
Adam is running in West Kelowna-Peachland to bring his experience in the trades, renewable energy, community organizing and youth leadership into public service, with a focus on climate action, environmental protection and building a more sustainable future.
