Adrian has built a reputation as a passionate advocate for his constituents since being elected in 2005. In elected office, Adrian has helped lead community efforts to improve public safety for everyone, to save and fix schools, to build new housing, to establish community health facilities, to promote traffic safety, to create new childcare spaces and to address climate change. He works with everyone in Vancouver-Renfrew to make our community better.

A strong advocate for public health care, Adrian served as Minister of Health from 2017-2024. Under his leadership, BC has led Canada in recruiting family doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and allied health workers to serve patients across BC, setting new records in 2023 and 2024. Adrian continued to work tirelessly to strengthen healthcare, create jobs and protect the environment while serving as B.C.’s Minister of Energy and Climate Solutions for nearly two years.

Adrian Dix, David Eby and the BC NDP have a plan to stand up for British Columbians, protect the services that matter and support people who need it, and build for the future.
