I'm a local business owner, a husband and a dad. Like you, I want to feel safe in my community, keep up with the bills and know that the people making decisions are listening.
One thing my customers say about me is that I care. That's the approach I'd bring to council. Take the time to listen, understand the problem and work with people to find a solution.
The items below are priorities I'd work toward with council. I can't guarantee projects or make decisions on my own. What I can do is ask questions, look at the facts and costs, and explain where I stand.
Safer streets matter to me. Housing alone isn't the answer. People struggling with addiction or mental illness need meaningful help, and residents and businesses deserve to feel safe. I'd work with council and the agencies responsible to push for treatment, mental-health support and accountability.
I also want city decisions to respect people's budgets, help local businesses succeed and plan growth alongside the roads and services we need. Our farms and agricultural land matter, and farmers need to be heard. So do our local Indigenous communities, through respectful relationships and meaningful collaboration.
Sports, recreation, arts and community spaces matter too. Before backing a new project, I'd want to understand who it helps, what it costs and how we would pay for it.
You may not agree with every decision I make. I want you to know I've listened, taken it seriously and made that decision honestly.
Help people, find a solution, finish the job.

Public Drug Use
I want safer streets and public spaces for everyone. Housing alone isn't the answer. We also need to address addiction, mental illness and the impact of open drug use on our neighbourhoods and businesses. People struggling need meaningful help, and residents deserve to feel safe. I would work with council and the agencies responsible to push for treatment, mental-health support and accountability.

Biography
I grew up in Vancouver and moved to Chilliwack in 2000. This is where I met my wife, built my business and am raising our two boys. Chilliwack is home, and I care about where it goes from here.
One thing my customers say about me is that I care. That means a lot to me. At Tek Solutions Canada, I take the time to listen, understand what someone needs and help them find a solution. I care about the person who comes through the door, and I stand behind my work.
I hear about the pressures facing families, seniors and small businesses, and I understand that every dollar matters. I would bring that same care for people to council.
My past community involvement includes being a Rotarian, coaching youth flag football and serving on the Chilliwack Giants executive. I am no longer involved with Rotary or the Giants, but those experiences taught me the value of teamwork, showing up and following through.
I would bring that same approach to council: ask questions, listen to residents, understand the costs and work with the mayor and other councillors to make practical decisions.

Reason for running
I'm running because I care about the people who live here. This is where my wife and I are raising our boys, where I run my business and where I've built my life.
At the shop, people come to me because they need help. I listen, ask questions and try to find a solution that works for them. My customers tell me I care, and that means a lot to me.
I want people to feel they can talk to me and be taken seriously. Whether you're worried about safety, the cost of living, your business or changes in your neighbourhood, I want to understand what you're dealing with.
I don't have every answer, and one councillor can't do everything. I'd work with the mayor and council, learn what I need to know and look carefully at what the city can afford and deliver.
These are priorities I'd work toward, not guaranteed outcomes. I'll listen, do my homework, explain my decisions and follow through on the work I take on.
Help people, find a solution, finish the job.
