Born and raised in Nanaimo, I’m proud to call this city home. I’ve been a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years and currently work in the Emergency Department at NRGH, where I see firsthand how many of the challenges facing our community ultimately show up in the emergency room. That front-line experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of addressing issues upstream, before they become a crisis. As a mother of two, homeowner, community advocate and volunteer, and currently finishing my Master’s in Counselling, I bring a broad range of life and professional experience that I believe would be an asset to the City of Nanaimo.

I am running for Nanaimo City Council because I care deeply about Nanaimo and I want to be a strong and compassionate voice for our community.
I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about Nanaimo and want to be a strong, compassionate voice for our community. Through my work as a Registered Nurse and my involvement in our community, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges Nanaimo residents are facing.
I’m not just running for Nanaimo, I’m part of this community. I understand the challenges we face, and I’m ready to listen, stand up for our community, and get things done. Together, we can build a Nanaimo that works for everyone and a future we can all be proud of.
