They may still in the future!
Biography
I have an engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology in India and an MBA. I have worked with large enterprise automotive companies — including Eicher (a JV with Volvo and Mitsubishi) and Mahindra, the world's largest tractor
manufacturer — and had senior leadership roles at startups in India, the United States, and Canada, where I immigrated in 2002.
I have mentored engineering students from SFU and UBC during their internships and both my children: a daughter who completed her PhD at Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar and a son, who completed his Master's in Data Science from UBC with an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.
I believe as a trustee that I can help SD36 offer opportunities to every student to build a brighter and promising future regardless of their background through a well-rounded education that focuses on fostering academic excellence, leadership, music, athletic and other talents.
