MK Morris is a writer, performer, and mental health and arts advocate with over a decade in the film/tv and live theatre world. In her past life as an assistant director she’s worked with industry giants such as CBC, Disney, and Ubisoft, as well as managing large scale events contributing to her adaptable team player mentality. 

She has received numerous accolades for her writing and directing, and proudly uses her art to tackle themes of queer identity and mental health. MK loves collaborating with other artists, most notably as a founder of the community arts collective ‘Stay In School’ and the female film collective ‘Yes, Let’s Media!’

MK is excited to work with the NL NDP towards a better, more equitable future for Newfoundland and Labrador, that puts people before profits, where everyone receives the support they need.
