Dan Bobbett is a dedicated, experienced leader with a proven record of results and a deep connection to both Paradise and the broader Topsail–Paradise district.
First elected as Mayor of Paradise in 2013, after serving eight years as a Town Councillor, Dan has spent more than a decade delivering for residents. Under his leadership, Paradise has seen meaningful progress in infrastructure, recreation, accessibility, and long-term community planning — including meaningful advocacy for a new high school and improved traffic access into the town.
Though Dan’s service to Paradise has been steadfast, he’s equally committed to the Topsail side of the district. He understands that residents there have distinct and vital priorities — including reliable snow clearing and maintenance on Route 60 — and he is ready to bring the same energy, responsiveness, and dedication to represent Topsail with full attention and respect.
Born and raised in Hermitage–Sandyville, Dan studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering Technology, graduating from the College of Trades and Technology. Professionally, he works as a Biomedical Engineering Technologist with Eastern Health. He and his wife, Valerie, have raised two daughters and are now doting grandparents to two beautiful grandchildren.
Dan Bobbett is ready to bring his proven leadership, deep community roots, and forward-looking vision to the House of Assembly — and to work every day for the people of Topsail–Paradise.
