Viviane Minko est diplômée d’HEC Montréal et de l’Université de Montréal.

Citoyenne engagée, elle cultive son intérêt pour la politique depuis son enfance, d’où son militantisme en politique et dans sa communauté depuis 1998. À plusieurs reprises, elle contribue à l’élaboration de plusieurs Résolutions politiques au sein de la Commission des politiques et de la Commission féminine libérale fédérale-PLC (Q). Tout en cumulant de nombreux mandats liés à la condition féminine, parmi tant d’autres causes lui tenant à cœur.

Gestionnaire émérite, bénévole dévouée et engagée dans la lutte contre les inégalités, l’équité et l’inclusion, tout en étant une militante active pour l’égalité de genre, l’autonomisation de la femme est un leader dévoué ayant fait ses preuves dans le milieu communautaire.

Depuis 2008, elle participe à titre de bénévole à la guignolée du Dr Gilles Julien. Elle estime que nos enfants du Québec ont le droit de grandir en santé et que sa contribution fait une réelle différence dans la vie de milliers d’enfants issus de situations vulnérables. À travers ses actions et vie professionnelle, dans le service public et communautaire dans l’Est et ailleurs, elle a démontré sa grande passion et sa profonde détermination à améliorer concrètement la vie des familles de notre communauté. Elle connaît les enjeux divers mais surtout de multiples facettes en intersectionnalité qui permet d’intégrer les différences entre les femmes, permettant d’aller au-delà de la notion même de féminisme.

Viviane Minko est Fondatrice et PDG d'Espoir V, œuvrant dans la promotion de l'éducation, l’accompagnement et le renforcement de capacité des femmes, des filles, des jeunes et des personnes vulnérables. Elle a été fonctionnaire, et est membre auprès de plusieurs organisations. Elle a présidé le CA à Nutrition sans Frontière, et y siège à titre d’administratrice à ce jour, et à Vue et Voix (2009-2019). Elle siège sur plusieurs autres Conseils d’administrations, de tables de concertation et de comités féminins et mixtes. Viviane a été souvent honorée pour son leadership et implication sociale. Elle est récipiendaire de plusieurs Prix de reconnaissance pour sa contribution à l’avancement des femmes et à la justice sociale au Canada et ailleurs.

En tant que candidate libérale pour La Pointe-de-L’île, et vivant dans l’Est depuis deux décennies, Viviane connaît les conditions à réunir pour créer de bons emplois, soutenir les gens, les familles et les petites entreprises de la communauté et bâtir un avenir meilleur pour tous. Elle s’engage maintenant à collaborer avec Justin Trudeau en vue d’investir dans la classe moyenne et les personnes qui travaillent dur pour en faire partie, de faire croître une économie qui profite à tous, de protéger l’environnement et de continuer à faire avancer le Canada.

Viviane souhaite défendre les couleurs du Parti Libéral du Canada, car c’est un parti rassembleur, ouvert, inclusif, pour une société plus juste et durable, tout en combattant les inégalités sociales et le réchauffement climatique. Dès son arrivée au Canada-Drummondville, elle s’est impliquée au sein de sa société d’accueil très tôt. Elle est mère de deux merveilleux enfants. Depuis 2008, Viviane connaît mieux que quiconque le dynamisme qui caractérise la population de La Pointe-de-L’île. À titre de députée, elle travaillera sans relâche pour défendre les intérêts de la communauté à Ottawa.

La candidate a une perspective unique des défis quotidiens auxquels sont confrontées les familles de la classe moyenne et elle comprend les priorités et les enjeux de La Pointe-de-L’île. Elle a de profondes racines dans l’Est depuis ses années estudiantines en 2005, tout en ayant été responsable des bénévoles de l’Ex et défunte candidate Oumy SARR en 2008, lorsqu’elle était dans les Jeunes libéraux du PLC (Q). De plus, depuis 2017, elle a été l’une des pionnières comme membre du CA de l’ADC de La Pointe-de -L’île et y siège à titre de présidente des politiques. Elle a participé à toutes les campagnes électorales, journées d’actions etc qui y ont succédées. Le travail de terrain fait partie de ses prédilections, ainsi que des enjeux liés à la sécurité alimentaire, la santé, la précarité des locataires, l’entreprenariat et la contamination des sols la touchent particulièrement. Elle est « l’Homme qu’il faut, à la place qu’il faut » comme candidate dans le dit comté.

Les familles de La Pointe-de-L’île, ainsi que celles issues des communautés culturelles, les aînés et les jeunes ont besoin d’une voix de confiance au sein du gouvernement qui contribuera à renforcer la classe moyenne et à bâtir une économie qui fonctionne pour l’ensemble des Canadiennes et des Canadiens. Viviane Minko ne cessera jamais de travailler d’arrache-pied pour offrir un avenir meilleur aux familles de La Pointe-de-L’île et pour faire en sorte que chacun ait une chance juste et équitable de réussir.
