Christopher Moon is a public servant, union supporter and lifelong Vancouver Island resident. He's lived in Langford with his husband and two dogs since 2021.
Born and raised in Victoria, he cares deeply about the future of the West Shore and British Columbia’s coastal environment.
Christopher has more than nine years of experience with the Ministry of Forests and BC Wildfire Service, where he has worked in financial administration, payroll and team leadership in a complex, fast-moving emergency-services environment. He has progressed from an entry-level clerical role to Provincial Payroll Lead and is experienced in working under pressure, managing complex systems and supporting diverse teams.
While working full-time with BC Wildfire, Christopher earned a Diploma in Public Administration from Camosun College. His leadership has also been recognized with a BC Wildfire Service Emerging Leader Award.
Christopher has additional experience in healthcare and retail management. During the 2025 BCGEU strike, he volunteered as a Building Captain to support colleagues advocating for better wages and working conditions.
