Government has not always provided sufficient financial and performance information to properly evaluate its decisions. Making promises without that information is exactly the kind of politics I want to change.
My priorities are clear: timely health care, protecting families and parental involvement in education, affordability, housing, productive jobs, safer communities, responsible resource development and authentic reconciliation.
I will work to introduce legislation addressing gender ideology in schools, strengthen parental involvement, repeal DRIPA and pursue reconciliation with clear objectives and measurable improvements in people's lives.
But priorities must be supported by responsible financial decisions. Whether constructing a school, expanding health care, addressing homelessness or introducing new programs, government must establish justified costs, measurable objectives, realistic deadlines and publicly reported outcomes.
Before committing taxpayers to further spending, we must understand what is working, what is failing, what needs changing and what British Columbians can realistically afford.
My commitment is not to promise everything. It is to establish clear priorities, ask difficult questions, demand accountability and make decisions based on evidence, sound principles and measurable results.
Government should measure results, not announcements.

Reason for running
Why I Am Running for MLA — Langford–Highlands
I am running for MLA in Langford–Highlands because British Columbians deserve principled leadership, accountable government and measurable results.
As Provincial Leader of the Christian Heritage Party of BC, I believe government must be guided by principles that do not shift with political pressure.
Government should measure results, not announcements.
Once Elected, I Will Work To:
FAMILIES & EDUCATION
Introduce legislation to end teaching that gender is fluid in B.C. schools and require schools to keep parents informed. Restore parental involvement and return to the basics in education.
HEALTH CARE
Prioritize timely access to medical treatment, mental health services, home care and quality palliative care. Direct more resources to front-line care and ensure assisted death is never treated as a substitute for unavailable health services.
FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY & MEASURABLE RESULTS
Require major government initiatives, whether constructing a school, expanding health care or addressing homelessness, to demonstrate justified costs, clear objectives, realistic deadlines and publicly reported results.
Taxpayers deserve to know what government promised, what it spent and whether it actually delivered.
AFFORDABILITY, HOUSING & JOBS
Reduce unnecessary taxes, regulations and government costs that make everyday life unaffordable. Support housing construction, small businesses, investment and responsible resource development.
REPEAL DRIPA, NOT RECONCILIATION
Pursue authentic reconciliation with clear responsibilities, participation by affected parties and measurable improvements in Indigenous communities, including greater independence and economic opportunity.
SAFER COMMUNITIES
Demand accountability for violent and repeat offenders and improve addiction treatment, mental health care and recovery.
INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS
Protect freedom of expression, religion, conscience and the right to peacefully disagree with government.
Why Principles Matter
For years, I have stood alongside British Columbians, bringing their concerns to school boards, city councils, MLAs and the Legislature. I have seen firsthand how government decisions affect families, businesses and communities, and how often legitimate concerns go unanswered.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BC CONSERVATIVE PARTY
I have been involved with the BC Conservative Party since 2018. I worked to grow the membership, helped build the party and contributed to policy development. But after watching the same cycle repeat itself, I ultimately left the party a final time.
In 2025, while serving as president of my local riding association, I attended the AGM. Despite party policy, I and many others were wrongfully prevented from voting, while party leadership's preferred slate of candidates was advanced. Busloads of people were quietly brought in to vote the "right way," fed pizza, and then bussed home again.
Many of the same people remain in the party and the underlying problems have not changed.
Once I had seen the same cycle play out twice, staying with the Conservative Party and expecting something different for myself or others would have been insanity.
IT'S TIME TO LOOK BEYOND THE PARTY LABEL
Some will say, "You'll split the vote." But the real question is: what will another BC Conservative seat actually change for you?
I believe one principled voice willing to challenge the status quo can accomplish more than another representative unwilling to stand apart from party pressure.
MY BACKGROUND
I have raised five children on Vancouver Island, grew up working in a family business, and earned a diploma in health and safety. Those experiences have given me a practical understanding of the families, workers and small businesses that form the backbone of our province and how government decisions can either create the conditions for people to thrive or make it increasingly difficult for them to do so.
The people of Langford–Highlands deserve a representative with the courage to listen, speak up and bring their concerns forward, and B.C. deserves leadership willing to do the same.
THE TRAGEDY OF HOMELESSNESS
I organized and worked alongside community volunteers and local government to help secure funding and resources for a warm, safe indoor place where people could eat daily rather than being left on the streets.
SOGI
In 2018, despite the pushback, I was among the early voices speaking out about SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) teaching in B.C. schools. I addressed school boards, raised concerns countless times with trustees and the Minister of Education, travelled across B.C. informing and encouraging others to become involved in their local school boards.
From K–12, teachers can draw from a broad, open-ended range of materials of their own choosing to teach that gender is fluid, meaning that a person can identify as a boy, a girl, neither or both, and that a gender-fluid identity can change from day to day or week to week.
Schools can also connect students with outside gender-transitioning services, while policies exclude parents from knowing when their own child is questioning or experiencing confusion about gender.
COVID
During the pandemic, I organized grassroots efforts to support people dealing with job losses, family separation, loved ones dying alone and changing restrictions.
Whatever our views on the policies of that time, people needed someone willing to listen, organize and carry their concerns to government.
I stepped forward to lead grassroots efforts, taking concerns to city council, my local MLA and outside the Legislature week after week, where I organized and spoke so voices could be heard.
HOSPICE CARE
I serve on the Delta Hospice board, advocating for hospice care in British Columbia.
Dignity and compassionate care should never depend on political convenience. No one should be left pressured to consider MAID because the medical, mental health, disability or palliative care they needed was unavailable or limited in access.
Why I Am Asking for Your Vote
The Christian Heritage Party of BC offers a foundation of principles that does not change with the political moment.
I am running to bring my experience into the Legislature, challenge wasteful decisions and ensure the people of Langford–Highlands are heard.
NOW I'M READY TO BRING THOSE VOICES INTO THE LEGISLATURE.
Principles before political pressure. People before party interests. Measurable results before more government promises.
