Biography
I’m a 14-year Mission resident, married mom of two young adults, Red Seal tradeswoman, former small business owner, and I currently work in marketing.
I bring 13 years of community volunteer, advocacy and governance experience, with extensive stakeholder experience. My advocacy has ranged from local schools to City Hall to the Legislature. I've served on multiple Committees and Boards from Mission's Traffic and Transit Committee to Dyslexia BC.
I’ve spent more than seven years attending Council meetings, budgets and staying informed on important local issues, speaking at public hearings and presenting delegations. I’ve been part of groups who have collaborated with City Hall on emergency preparedness and been involved in projects including bringing high-speed internet to 800 North Mission residents, road safety funding, school fundraising, St. Joseph’s Food Bank fundraising, and early literacy initiatives with Dyslexia BC, along with many other community initiatives.
This experience has given me a strong understanding of how decisions made at City Hall affect residents, families, businesses and our community. I also understand how advocacy works, which is critical when addressing the many provincial issues affecting Mission, including hospitals, schools, mental health, housing and more.
In 2025, I was a recipient of a Path and Pathfinders Women of Mission Award for community service.
Reason for running
I’m running because I believe Mission needs to change direction. I want to make sure we get the basics right first, treat tax dollars like my own family budget, get value for every dollar, and make decisions based on facts, accountability, transparency and what our community actually needs.
I’ve spent years volunteering, advocating and staying engaged in municipal issues, and I’m ready to put that experience to work for Mission. I want to be a strong, independent voice for residents, respect public input, and help build a community where residents and businesses can thrive.
It’s time to focus on what matters, make every tax dollar count, remove barriers for businesses looking to invest and create jobs, support smart investment, and rebuild confidence in City Hall.
