Running with the One Delta team, Incumbent Councillor Daniel Boisvert is seeking re-election, building on his first-term focus of delivering value for taxpayers and ensuring the fundamentals of local government are done right. He remains committed to keeping taxes low while ensuring City Hall operates efficiently, responsibly, and in the best interests of residents.

A Delta resident for more than 50 years, Daniel brings deep community roots and extensive professional experience to Council. A graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business, he became a Notary Public in 2008 and operates his practice in Delta, where he has earned a reputation for professionalism, accuracy, and integrity in decision-making.

Daniel has also held senior leadership roles within the notarial profession, including serving as Vice President of the Society of Notaries Public of BC and as the founding president of the BC Notaries Association. Through these leadership roles, he developed strong experience in governance, collaboration, and organizational accountability.

Prior to serving on Council, Daniel was elected to the Delta Board of Education in 2018, later serving as Vice Chair. He believes strong public education is essential to building healthy, resilient, and connected communities. His commitment to public service also includes serving as a director of the Heron Hospice Society of Delta, where he supported compassionate care for individuals and families facing life-limiting illness.

In 2022, Daniel was elected to Delta Council, where he has continued advocating for practical decision-making, responsible spending, and reliable community services. He also serves on the Delta Police Board, helping support public safety and effective policing in the community.

Daniel lives in Delta with his wife Sandra, General Manager of the Tunnel Town Curling Club. He is passionate about public service, accountable leadership, and strengthening the community he has proudly called home for decades.
