Harry Bains is a lawyer, father of two, and proud Surrey resident of more than 30 years. Through his legal career, he has worked closely with local businesses and residents, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges facing Surrey's growing community. He is committed to building safer neighbourhoods, supporting families, and ensuring responsible, transparent leadership.

As Chair of the Focus Newton Task Force, Harry helped advance initiatives to revitalize Newton through safer streets, improved public spaces, and key infrastructure investments. His priorities include enhancing public safety, improving housing affordability, supporting healthcare and education, strengthening transit, and fostering smart growth that keeps Surrey a vibrant, connected, and thriving city for generations to come.
