He demonstrates a strong commitment to meeting the learning and development needs of individuals, groups, and institutions, facilitating quality improvements and positive outcomes through efficient and effective leadership in the design and implementation of learning and development programs and policies. He has professional experience in nursing care and has worked in acute care, long-term care and rehabilitative care at Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Having served as a Member of the Harm Reduction Committee and the Canadian Addiction Counselling Certification Federation, Nēwo-Yōtina Friendship Centre Canada-a Harm Reduction Centre, and managing the Prime Heritage Services, Olasehinde actively contributes to the field of Mental Health and Addictions. In 2023, he ran for the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly bye-election and in 2024 will be contesting in the major election, showcasing his dedication to advancing policies on Integrated Mental Health and Addiction Services. His active engagement extends to his membership in the Rotary International, Regina.

Olasehinde's interests lie within health professions education, with a specific focus on nursing education, mental health and addiction, community and public health, health professions leadership and management, Indigenous health, infection prevention and control, pedagogical effective practice, action research, program evaluation and assessment, curriculum innovation, and student engagement
