Kim Gartner has had a 35 year career in municipal administration, supporting local, regional, and provincial initiatives. He has served as CAO for the Town of Macklin for the past 30 years. Kim is a Past President of the Urban Administrators Association of Saskatchewan and has also served as School Trustee for the Living Sky School Division.

In addition to his professional life, Kim has been an active volunteer with numerous community organizations and has served as Event Coordinator for the World Bunnock Champions

Kim was born and raised on a family farm a short distance east of Macklin. He and his wife Colleen have four children and four granddaughters.
