After teaching shop in a high school for 13 years, Tim Grant edited Green Teacher, a non-profit magazine for youth educators, for 25 years before retiring. On the volunteer side, he has been actively involved in various community associations, working to strengthen local engagement and advocacy. He has been a provincial Green candidate three times and a federal Green candidate twice. He currently serves as the Transportation Critic for both the provincial and federal Green Parties. What he loves about the Greens is their focus on finding innovative solutions to tough problems.
