Biography

Born in Tehran, I made a choice of settling in Canada, in 1986 at the age of 27. Receiving my citizenship in 1990, I traveled from coast to coast to discover Canada and its culture, which was very different from that of Iran, or of Afghanistan, where I attended medical school.

One of my most important accomplishments is to have become an autodidact, a person with an ability to discipline myself to contemplate, absorb, process, and learn on my own.

Poverty, poor social services, and health care are the main issues that have motivated me to partake in the electoral process, directly. These are the result of the inadequate government policies and laws that favour some above others, and have led to widespread disparity across Ontario and Canada in general.

Ontarians have been neglected by governments, whether Liberal, Conservative, or NDP, in the last four decades. As a candidate for Beaches – East York I hope to educate and urge my constituents to firstly avoid making the mistake of voting for the three mainstream parties, and secondly, and to vote for a candidate who is part of the suffering population and not a member of the aristocratic oligarchy.

What have our MPPs done for us lately?
Is there really any difference between the three mainstream political parties when it comes to the Ontarians' welfare?
How and when did we end up becoming chronic procrastinators, letting dishonest individuals to get elected exponentially?

In 15 years, the Liberal Government has managed to grow Ontario's net debt from $130 billion to $310 billion; that was about $12 billion per year on average. The Conservative government has managed to grow Ontario's net debt from $310 billion to $435 billion in just six years, over $20 billion per year, in spite of making drastic cuts in social services!

Meanwhile, Ontarians had to cough up additional money for unprecedented inflation, expensive food prices, unaffordable housing, skyrocketing gas prices, higher hydro rates, etc., just after being incarcerated in their own residences for two years by the lockdown rules and regulations.

Ontario's sunshine list published in 2024 showed more than 300,000 people earned more than $100,000, including the CEO of Ontario Power Generation who came out on top, taking home over $1.9 million in 2023.

In the 2022 Ontario General Election less than 43% of registered voters cast their votes, and more than half of the eligible voters did not. The Progressive Conservative party of Ontario formed the majority government with less than 14%, and all 124 elected MPPs received less than 20% of the registered votes in Ontario. And as a result, 80% of Ontarians have been paying taxes without representation.

In the 2018 Ontario General Election less than 57% of registered voters cast their votes, and almost half of the eligible voters did not. The Progressive Conservative party of Ontario formed the majority government with less than 17%, and all 124 elected MPPs received less than 27% of the registered votes in Ontario. And as a result, 75% of Ontarians have been paying taxes without representation.

The Conservatives behaved like their corrupt Liberal predecessors and wasted Billions of dollars of public money, making their unscrupulous cronies richer.

The Conservative government oppressions are not limited to just financial matters, they also infringe on citizens' individual birth rights, civil liberties, property rights and common law rights.

So why do Ontarians choose to stay in this abusive relationship? Is it because they .

  1. Fear their abusive Government?
  2. See no way out?
  3. Are attached to their abuser?
  4. Economically depend on their abuser?
  5. Cling to the hope that one day the situation becomes acceptable, if not satisfactory?

The first step for concerned Ontarians who want to get rid of the existing oppressive conservative regime is to change the way they think when it comes to political parties, and stop voting for the gang of three!
