Born and raised in Kamloops I attended school in SD73 graduating from KamHigh in 1991. I have worked as a Social Worker in Kamloops since 1999. My practice has been focused on children and families since the beginning of my career. I am committed to better mental health for kids.

I currently operate a Private Practice in Kamloops where I provide counseling services. I have worked as an educator at TRU as well as an administrator. I am passionate about governance and policy development. I am committed to working collaboratively with community partners. I am a mom with a child currently enrolled in the district and my family loves living in Kamloops.

As a Social Worker I recognize the need for positive mental health for our kids. Kids with good mental health grow into adults with good mental health. I view working with kids as an opportunity for prevention.

I am committed to ensuring that schools are inclusive and that all kids feel a sense of belonging. Learning takes place not only in the classroom but in the outdoor spaces and within community which is why access to green space and nature and collaboration with community is imperative.
