Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
Tom is running for Mayor because while we've seen some positive changes in the last eight years, we're falling behind on what matters most.

Kelowna has the highest crime rate in Canada, the most homeless people we've ever had, the most traffic congestion, and highest taxes.

Tom is committed to working with local experts, city staff and internationally renowned experts to tackle our biggest issues. He knows that the key to getting the right results is to work with people who have expert experience, and never shutting the door on the public.
