Nicole Brown has served 2 terms on the Board of Education. Previously, she was a Trustee for the West Vancouver Memorial Library and then served as its Foundation Chair (2004-2012). Nicole is deeply committed to excellence in the public institutions that make West Vancouver such a special place to live. She received a Certificate of Appreciation from the BC/Yukon Legion in 2021 and the Municipal Civic Commitment Award in 2014. Before her public service, she worked for Rogers Media in marketing and sales of online educational products to K-12 schools and colleges across Canada. Nicole is a graduate of Sentinel Secondary and is delighted that her two children have followed in her footsteps in 2020/22. Next term, she will focus on solutions to the long-standing issue of inadequate IT infrastructure funding. She will be a champion for innovative programs of choice and support vibrant school communities that all students and their families are proud to belong to.
