Judy Dueck has called Maple Ridge home for over 40 years. She and her husband, Ron, raised two daughters and now enjoy time with their two grandchildren here. Judy owned and operated a successful consulting business in the community before joining the management team with the Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows School District as their Manager of Health, Safety & Wellness, where she worked until her recent retirement.
Judy served on the Board of Education from 1993 to 2002, including terms as vice-chair and chair, and on Maple Ridge City Council from 2002 to 2014 and 2018 to 2022. Judy calls these some of the most rewarding years of her life. Judy has a proven track record of being approachable and informed, and always maintaining a high level of integrity.
After 25 years of public service, she earned the compliment of being known as “The Voice of Reason.” Judy believes the community of Maple Ridge can simultaneously address both our issues and our opportunities, which requires experienced and trustworthy people to lead the conversations.
