Gurveen Dhaliwal is seeking re-election where she is currently serving her second year as School Board Chair. She leads with passion and expertise to ensure students and families feel heard and supported. Gurveen is proud of the successes of the past term and believes that community starts in schools.

Gurveen‘s commitments include:

- Increasing mental health supports and services for all students and families

- Building more innovative schools and childcare spaces to support New West’s growing population

- Continuing to transform the student experience through meaningful investments in the teaching and learning environment

She is excited to be running with Community First and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to innovate and grow to better support New West students and their families.

Gurveen is a lifelong resident of Queensborough where you’ll often see her walking the Port Royal Trail with her corgi Roy - say hi!
