Biography
Age 23, Jordan excels in all he does and uplifts those around him. Besides his career achievements he is a high performance athlete, he is a mechanic of passion, and a cultivator of fruit trees. He has integrated his academics with real world experience and wants to make a home for his future family.
"Understanding the interconnection of, transportation, housing, infrastructure, and the climate crisis, is to understand where and how we need to shape our city." -Jordan MacDougall-
While only a young man, Jordan currently works with Indigenous Services Canada in community development, governance and capacity development. In the past he has helped manage projects alongside developers and municipal governments. He is a current member of the Arts Culture and Heritage advisory committee, and has helped multiple small business and startups grow over the last 8 years. He is a hobby mechanic and quick to always help anyone with his diverse skill set. In all of his vocations Jordan prioritizes building strong relationships and improving his community. He has been a high performance athlete for the last 6 years wining a national title in 2022. He strives for excellence and compassion in all he does.
Reason for running
Young people feel they have little to no hope when imagining their future here. We are losing our doctors, nurses, business entrepreneurs and tradesmen. Jordan hopes to re-engage with those who have lost faith and do not participate in our democratic system. He hopes to gain there involvement by being someone who gives it his all to face these problems and others dear to our community,
