Kristin Schnider has been a vocal advocate for quality public education for over a decade. She has lived in Burnaby for over 20 years with her husband David and three children, and is proud to be running for School Trustee with the Burnaby Citizens Association. Kristin’s advocacy has focused on Burnaby’s community school model, accessible childcare, and creating an inclusive culture of respect for Burnaby’s diverse school community. Kristin works for the Public Service Alliance of Canada. She bring with her real lived experience in the Burnaby school system, serving as an elected parent representative on the Burnaby District Parents Advisory Council (DPAC) for many years, including two terms as the DPAC Chair. Her work on the Stoney Creek Community Council and as a team manager for the Burnaby Baseball Association shows that Kristin understands her community and is ready to work hard for you and your family.
