Reah is a community builder and organizer with a decade of experience in grassroots politics and labour. She is passionate about people living with dignity and strives for a society that reduces harm socially, institutionally, and environmentally. She’s a member of the Panjabi community and knows first-hand the difficulties marginalized people face navigating life and finding a sense of belonging here. That's why she's committed to making Burnaby one of the most vibrant and inclusive cities in the region - a place where life is more affordable, and people have access to the services they count on. Reah has served in Alberta’s government in the Office of the Premier and currently works for the BC Federation of Labour as Director, Organizing and Campaigns. It’s precisely these experiences that will make her an asset at Burnaby City Council because she knows how to get the job done.
