Biography

submitted to Vancouver's elections office by the candidate
I have 26 years in public safety within two federal government agencies, CBSA and FINTRAC. I recently completed a Master of Law degree through Osgoode Hall at York University. I am Metis. I am a wife, proud Mom of two young kids & a Jack Russell with a Pomsky on the way.

I volunteer on two civic committees with Vancouver: the Urban Indigenous Peoples' Advisory Committee and the Civic Asset Naming Committee. I also volunteered for 6 years on the Resident Advisory Committee through the Neighbourhood Small Grants Program via the Vancouver Foundation, reviewing grant proposals from residents on projects that connect the community. Community means everything to me! I love photography and social media. Yes, even have a tiktok account, but my favorite is Instagram!

Reason for running

submitted to Vancouver's elections office by the candidate
I am deeply concerned about our city.

I want to shape policy, make history and leave a legacy for my children.

Our city is no longer safe. We need to rebuild trust and relationships.

I have the drive and willpower to make things happen. I am a connector and collaborator.

I will advocate for your safety and find solutions that address your concerns.

I will focus on core services, community safety, and well-being, reconciliation of indigenous people, and reuniting neighbours post-pandemic.
