I'm a voice for nature and all peoples in Surrey! I'm fighting for renters, transit users, seniors & students, immigrants & refugees, homeless folks, wildlife and companion animals! I'm advocating for more parks, drop-in centers for youth, free recreation access and free transit!

Affordable Housing
Roslyn Cassells's promise
We need to protect our existing rental stocks. We must provide landlords with incentives to keep existing rentals, because if they are ripped down they will be replaced with condos or purpose-built rentals which are 200% to 300% more expensive than the current rentals.
Community-Building
Roslyn Cassells's promise
As Jane Jacobs said "Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody." We are only as strong as the people in our midst and we must include everyone from the grass roots on up to make choices for Surrey!!
Diversity
Roslyn Cassells's promise
Multicultural hiring policy in all City programs and institutions. Diversity quotient in large private companies. As a refugee advocate and specialist in immigrant accreditation of professional qualifications I'm well aware of the barriers people face. We must fight for equality!

Reconciliation
Roslyn Cassells's promise
As a settler in support of indigenous sovereignty I take my cue from my First Nations sisters and brothers. Practical Aid and support is better than empty words. Housing & jobs are needed. Recruit First Nations people for city jobs, outreach for housing help, education & daycare
