I have lived in Surrey for over 60 years. The last ten, I have been honoured to have served as a Surrey Trustee.

In my family life I have been blessed with 4 amazing children who all graduated with honours from the Surrey School District.

In my work life I worked for the City of Surrey for 27 years and of those years, spent 15 years as president of CUPE 402. In my public life I have spent time serving on many committees such as Aboriginal Council, Homelessness Society, Diversity Committee and Health and Safety .

In my political life I have lobbied countlessly for funding, access to fair education for all students regardless of social or economic standing and LGBTQ rights.

In my personal life I have struggled with poverty growing up and hopefully have helped students recognize the importance of an education and how teachers gave me a purpose in life when I really needed encouragement.

I would be honoured to serve another 4 years to continue my advocacy for all students of Surrey.
