Biography

from their website

Paul Lehmann is a no-nonsense leader who has called Compton–Stanstead home for 30 years, having lived in Ste-Catherine-de-Hatley, Waterville, and Lennoxville. Raised on a freshwater fish farm in Mission, British Columbia, Paul moved to Quebec in 1995 to pursue speed skating and study business and economics at Bishop’s University. There, he co-founded the university’s lacrosse program, sparking a lasting passion for leadership and winning.

In 2011, Paul co-founded a logistics firm in Montreal that now employs over 40 people, proving his ability to create jobs and foster economic growth. He coached Champlain College Lennoxville’s lacrosse team for six years and served on the boards of Lacrosse Canada and Crosse Québec, helping develop young athletes and build strong community ties.

Paul lives in the region with his wife and son and is deeply connected to the people and spirit of Compton–Stanstead.

Running with the People’s Party of Canada, Paul is tired of government overreach and empty promises. He will fight for a leaner economy with lower taxes and less bureaucracy, defend free speech from censorship, curb mass immigration to prioritize Canadians, and reject divisive DEI and “woke” agendas in favour of unity and common sense.

Paul Lehmann brings grit, experience, and integrity to Ottawa—ready to be Compton–Stanstead’s voice for real change.
