Jenna is a young Mi’kmaw woman from Millbrook First Nation. Growing up in Middle Sackville, she has dedicated her life to fighting for better public services for working families, meaningful reconciliation, protecting our environment, and better health services. Jenna has fought to improve support for young First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people across Canada serving as the Youth Executive for the Board of the National Association of Friendship Centres and she has worked with many Residential School survivors, Indian Day School survivors, 60’s scoop survivors and their families to address Intergenerational trauma and begin their healing journeys.
