Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
Carl says, “Make friends with your neighbours." As the Christian Heritage Party's candidate for the Saskatoon—University riding, and as your federal member of Canada’s Parliament, Carl will work to strengthen family values.

Fear nothing and no one. Do not take offence from those who call you names or attack you. Forgive them so you do not carry malice in your own hearts. Do good works and pass them forward.

1) Strengthen family support through changes in the tax code. Contribute to increased natural birth by supporting families and allow welfare single mothers to marry without losing benefits.

2) End special interests and large corporations from having disproportionate government influence: Stop graft and corruption. Break up monopolies and interdict government activities that curtail freedom of speech. Legally enforce good corporate citizenship and disallow corporate predation. Prohibit governments from curtailing freedom of assembly.

3) Reorganize health care to be patient centric, delegate authority for patient therapy to those performing it. Refocus Health Canada from colluding with big Pharma to institute greater emphasis on promoting orphan drugs, and Covid-19 therapy. Refocus care from Covid-19 to the current HIV and syphilis epidemic in Saskatchewan with increased attention to high-risk sexual behaviour and illicit drug usage, to cancer therapy, to needed surgeries, to psychiatric care for depression, suicidal mentation, and domestic violence.

4) Green: Plant mixed species trees and manage forests: expand them, clear dead wood, local burn dying stands, use selective cutting forestry, eliminate carbon tax, switch to natural gas with no flaring and install remote spot nuclear reactors.

5) Help small businesses. Remove equalization payments. Promote interprovincial trade. Put selective escalating tariffs on Chinese slave labour imports. Cancel Canadian participation in the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games.
