I have a good blend of education and experience and I know how to work within government to initiate change. There are several key issues in rural areas, like timely access to health care, a new model for education to accommodate a smaller population, and finding ways to reduce the cost of living while supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs in our communities. Lastly, preserving and protecting the natural environment is important as we have experienced several years of drought in this area. [There are more ranches and parks in the area than farms like other parts of the province.] The government has a role in each of these areas which would improve this lives of residents in the southwest.
