Randene Neill was elected as the MLA for Powell River-Sunshine Coast in 2024. In government, she served as BC’s Minister of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship.
Prior to public life, Randene worked as a journalist at Global BC for nearly two decades, reporting and anchoring for the Noon Newshour, Weekend Newshour, and Newshour Final. She also worked as a communications consultant for organizations that include te BC Parks Foundation and the new St. Paul’s Hospital.
She lives on the beautiful Sunshine Coast with her partner and two (mostly) good dogs.
