Tasha Doucas is an educator, entrepreneur, governance leader, sports coach, and proud single mother to her 17-year-old son.

Tasha Doucas is an educator, entrepreneur, governance leader, sports coach, and proud single mother to her 17-year-old son. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education, is bilingual (English and French) and has dedicated her career to helping people, organizations, and communities thrive through education, collaboration, and innovative leadership.

As a Parent Advisory Council executive at a newly established elementary school, Tasha helped establish bylaws, engage families, lead fundraising initiatives, and build strong partnerships between parents, teachers, and school administration. She later served five years as President of a provincial sport organization, championing transparency, accountability, strategic planning, and good governance.

Professionally, Tasha has led education and technology initiatives in government, legal and healthcare sectors, implementing innovative systems that improved efficiency while reducing human error.

As a longtime coach, mentor, and volunteer in community sport, Tasha has worked with young people and families of all ages and abilities, helping build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

Inspired by her own son's educational journey, Tasha is committed to ensuring every student feels safe, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. She believes strong public education is built on collaboration, accountability, and meaningful partnerships between students, families, educators, and the community.
